What we offer

From a single bow to a full chamber group

Pick the size that fits your venue, your moment, and your budget. We’ll suggest repertoire that matches.

Solo

Solo violin for a ceremony, recital, or intimate gathering. Bach, Vitali, Tárrega — or contemporary takes on Filipino kundiman.

  • Wedding processional
  • Funeral / memorial service
  • Intimate dinner
  • Hotel lobby

Duet

2 musicians

Violin + piano, violin + cello, or violin + guitar. Fuller sound than solo, still mobile enough for any venue.

  • Bridal procession
  • Cocktail hour
  • Office holiday party
  • Engagement

Trio / Quartet

3–4 musicians

String trios and quartets — the gold standard for weddings and corporate events. Pachelbel, Handel, jazz standards, modern arrangements.

  • Wedding ceremony
  • Corporate gala
  • Recital opener
  • Brand launch

Chamber & larger

5+ musicians

String ensembles, mixed chamber groups, larger combinations. Bigger venues need bigger sound — tell us the occasion and we’ll assemble the right group.

  • Concert event
  • Anniversary gala
  • Recording session
  • Festival opening

Common occasions

We play where you’re celebrating

Weddings

Processional, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner. From a solo violinist walking the bride down the aisle to a full quartet through reception.

Corporate events

Brand launches, year-end galas, executive dinners, conferences. Adds quiet prestige without taking over the room.

Private celebrations

Birthdays, anniversaries, debuts, engagements. Live music turns a dinner into something people remember.

Religious services

Catholic weddings and funerals, Christian services, interfaith ceremonies. Quiet, dignified, respectful of the liturgy.

Recitals & concerts

Solo recitals needing accompaniment, chamber music programs, opening or closing pieces for a longer event.

Recording sessions

Strings for a song, a soundtrack, or a demo. We can come to your studio or arrange one.

How booking works

Four steps from inquiry to performance

1

Send us the details

Date, venue, ensemble size, the moments you want music for. The more you tell us, the faster we can quote.

2

We confirm musicians

We check our musicians' calendars for your date. You hear back within 1–3 days with availability and a quote.

3

Discuss repertoire

We suggest pieces that fit the moment and the venue. Final song list locked in two weeks before the event.

4

Perform

The musicians arrive ahead of schedule, set up quietly, and play. We handle the logistics so you can be present at your own event.

Why Corona Strings

Player-led, not an agency

Corona Strings is led by a working Filipino violinist — not a booking agent who’s never picked up a bow. Every musician we book is someone we’d play alongside ourselves.

We keep the roster small on purpose. A bigger list means more variability and less control. The musicians we work with show up early, dress for the room, and play like they want to be there — because they do.

  • Filipino musicians, paid fairly
  • Repertoire built around your event, not a stock setlist
  • Quiet professionalism — we set up early, dress for the room
  • Transparent quotes — you see what each piece costs
  • One point of contact through Corona Strings (no chasing musicians)
  • Backup plan if a musician falls ill before the date

Quick questions

FAQ

How much does a booking cost?

It depends on ensemble size, duration, and travel. As a rough sense — a solo violinist for a ceremony starts in the low five figures (PHP); a string quartet for a half-day event runs higher. Send the details and we’ll quote within 1–3 days.

How far in advance should I book?

Two to three months out is comfortable for weddings — gives us time to confirm musicians and plan repertoire. For shorter notice (a few weeks), inquire anyway and we'll tell you what's possible. Holiday-season dates fill fastest.

Can you play outside Metro Manila?

Yes, for events that justify the travel. Provincial bookings include transport for the musicians and (depending on distance) accommodations. We can quote both options.

Can we request specific songs?

Absolutely. Send your song list and we'll let you know what we can prepare. Most pieces with sheet music available are doable; for arrangements that don’t exist for your ensemble size, we can either arrange or suggest alternatives.

Do you provide PA / amplification?

Acoustic ensembles work well in most venues without amplification. If your venue is large or outdoors, we can recommend a sound tech — or your event coordinator likely has one. We don’t carry a PA ourselves.

What happens if a musician gets sick?

We have backup arrangements with other trusted Metro Manila musicians. In our experience this almost never happens — but if it does, you get a comparable replacement at no extra cost. The performance happens; that’s the priority.

What's your payment policy?

50% deposit to confirm the date, balance due the day of the event. Cash, GCash, and bank transfer accepted. Cancellation terms are in our refund policy.
